How to Maintain Your Coated Floor
Simple maintenance guide for polyaspartic coated floors. Daily care, cleaning products, seasonal tips for Arizona, and when to call for warranty service.

How to Maintain Your Coated Floor
Daily Care
Dust mop or soft-bristle broom to remove loose dirt, sand, and debris. In Arizona, desert dust accumulates fast — a 60-second sweep every few days prevents micro-scratching from grit underfoot.
Weekly Cleaning
Mop with warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap (Dawn or similar). Wring the mop well — you want damp, not soaking. Rinse with clean water. That’s it. No special cleaners needed.
What NOT to Use
Do not use citrus-based cleaners, vinegar, bleach, ammonia, or abrasive scrub pads. Do not pressure wash above 1500 PSI. These won’t destroy the coating immediately but they degrade the topcoat gloss over time and can void your warranty.
Spill Response
The coating is non-porous so nothing penetrates. Wipe up oil, chemicals, or food within a reasonable timeframe and they leave zero stain. Even dried spills come up with warm soapy water and a nylon scrub pad.
Seasonal Notes for Arizona
After monsoon season: hose out any mud or debris that blew into your garage. The floor itself is waterproof. During summer: if your garage isn’t climate-controlled, the floor is fine — it’s rated to 160°F+. Before holidays: a quick mop and your garage looks showroom-ready for guests.
When to Call Us
If you notice any lifting at edges, bubbling, discoloration, or loss of gloss in a localized area — call us. These are rare but they’re warranty-covered and easier to address early.
